Anita Slana graduated Molecular Biology at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Science, Department of Biology in May 2017. She worked on her Master’s Thesis named „Analysis of BACH2 gene promoter region methylation in infection with Human immunodeficiency virus type 1” at University Hospital for Infectious Diseases „Dr. Fran Mihaljević“ in Zagreb. During her studies, she had opportunity to work as an Intern at Department of Microbiology, Faculty of science on new applications of monolithic supports for separation of plant viruses from one another. From August 2017, she is employed at Glycoscience Research Laboratory, Genos Ltd, Zagreb, Croatia as a Laboratory analyst.
